Ella Wolf
About Me
future plans-
Hi, my name is Ella Wolf and I am a student at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado.
future plans-
When I think about my future and what it all entails, I am extremely excited. I will be attending Grand Canyon University. I will also be an athlete running cross country and track. I want to major in sports medicine and then go to medical school. My dream is to become a dermatologist to help people.
Adventures
Paris, France
Travel has broadened my perspective on cultures around the world. In 10th grade I explored Paris with my family. It was fascinating to see all the architecture and how it is so different from the United States. My favorite part was the food in Paris. The bread and pastries are the BEST!!
Costa Rica
I got the opportunity to go to Costa Rica with my school. We got to explore a country and learn about their culture. My favorite experiences were playing with kids in an orphanage and helping the baby sea turtles make it to the ocean safely.
Camp Timberline
Every year since 5th grade I have gone to Camp Timberline in the summer. It is the place were I can be my full self. I love meeting new people every year and reconnecting with people from past years. My favorite activities are ziplining, mountain biking, and backpacking. I value the time we spend in fellowship where we explore our purpose.
Okoboji
My favorite lake is in Iowa of all places, Lake Okoboji. My family and I go every summer and "live the lake life". I enjoy wakeboarding and tubing behind the boat. But my favorite thing is jetskiing as fast as I can and jumping waves.

Art
My artwork shows that I am adventurous and love to travel. I love taking pictures wherever I go. I didnāt realize I loved photography until I went to all these places. Most of my pictures are taken outside of a window to show a view of my life.

Clubs
Peers
Mu Alpha Theta
I am apart of the Peer program at my school. It is a way for selected students to provide empathy and support to other students. We complete trainings to learn about different situations others may be going through. My favorite thing is being a part of a group that makes my school a better place.
Math Honors Society gives us the opportunity to tutor others. I have tutored my neighbor Graham so he doesn't fall behind.
Sprit Leader
National Honors Society

I love being a spirt leader for my school! I get to start chants for all the sporting events and get the student section loud. I got to speak at our assembly and teach the whole school our cheers.
NHS students are committed to values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. In this picture I am volunteering to help the Food Bank with bagging feminine products.
Service
National Charity League-
I have been a part of National Charity League or NCL for 6 years. NCL is "a nation wide mother/daughter service program that strives to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization through community and cultural experiences." It gives young women the tools they need in life. For example, I have learned and participated in self defense training. I have also volunteered at many places in my community. My favorite charities I have volunteered at are the Food bank of Larimer County, Project Self- Sufficiency, and the Museum of Art in Fort Collins.

Adapt-A-Family
Adopt-A-Family is one of my favorite activities to participate in at Rocky. Each home room sponsors a family that needs assistance during the holiday season. Each family makes a list of necessities they need. The best part is when the family gets more than they ask for to make the holidays extra special!
Camp Willow Springs
The summer of 2020 during Covid my sister and I started a camp for little kids in our neighborhood. This helped parents that had to work from home have a place for their kids to go when places were closed. We would go fishing, swimming, and play games.
Teachers
Mrs.
K A T Z M A N
In 5th grade my teacher was Mrs. Katzman. She is the first teacher to believe in me. I was below grade level for reading. Instead of her sending me to Lit Lab, where I had gone since 3rd grade with the other students below grade level for reading. She pushed me and gave me extra help in grade level reading. I became grade level in reading because she believed in me.

My high school weights teacher is Mr. Dyer. I have known him since I was young and he has always been there for me. Athletics has been a huge part of my life and having him guide and help me has shaped the person and athlete I am today.
Mr.
W O O D
One of the best teachers I have ever had was Mr. Wood. He was my Elementary PE teacher. Of course my favorite class was PE because we got to play games. But he also taught us so many life lessons and cared about the kids we were becoming. He still goes to my sports events and still is a PE teacher at my Elementary school
Mrs.
W O L F
My mom, Mrs. Wolf, is my art teacher. She knew I had a "special eye" for photography. I thought she was only saying that because she was my mom. But I decided to take AP art with her and she got me to believe my photography was good. My favorite part was getting to have an art show and showing others my "secret" talent.
High school has provided me with a sturdy foundation for my future. The lessons and experiences I have gained will not only be fond memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life, but they will also help guide me. I will continue to be a lifelong learner, to be my best self and help find my purpose and place in life. I am grateful for the many opportunities I have received, and I promise my story will not end here.
